It’s a paid Diagnostic. I tell you what I see, what I think the real problem is, and what I’d fix first. If a Build or ongoing Direction engagement is the right next move, I say that. If hiring, pausing, or doing nothing makes more sense, I say that instead. Paying for the Diagnostic changes the incentive. There is no project to justify before the problem is clear. The read can end with a build, a smaller correction, a sequence for later, or no change at all. Scope follows the diagnosis — not the other way around.
The Diagnostic earns the next move. It doesn’t assume it. If the work continues, you’ll know why. If it doesn’t, you’ll know why.
