PRIVACY POLICY
Plain language, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

WHAT I COLLECT
Three kinds of information you send me directly.
Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter. If you send a Diagnostic request, I collect your name, phone number, email address, business or organization, website or link, your answers, and any materials you choose to share — your site, your deck, your content, your tools, your notes, or other files.
The site also collects basic visit data: which pages were read, for how long, on what kind of device, and from roughly where. I view that reporting in aggregate through Wix Analytics.

WHY I USE IT
The email is so I can send the newsletter. The form is so I can answer you and take the steps you request before an engagement. The materials are so I can perform the work. Depending on the activity, I rely on consent, steps you ask me to take before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as site security and aggregate measurement, or legal obligations.
I don’t sell or rent your data. The service providers and tracking tools that receive it are named below.

THE MATERIALS YOU SEND FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC
This is the part that actually matters, so it gets its own section.
When you send me your website, your numbers, your internal notes, or the deck you’re not happy with, I treat it as confidential. I don’t publish it, quote it, or use it for promotion without your permission. Service providers may process it only as needed to host the site, communicate with you, or deliver the work. If I ever want to write about the engagement, I ask first, and no is a complete answer.
If you’d rather have an NDA in place before you send anything, say so before booking and we’ll do that instead.
I keep project materials while the engagement is active and only as long afterward as they are reasonably needed to support the work or maintain required business records. If you ask me to delete them, I remove them from my active files. Copies may remain temporarily in routine backups until those backups are replaced through their normal cycle.

WHO ELSE TOUCHES IT
This site runs on Wix, which stores form submissions, newsletter emails, and site data. The newsletter is also sent through Wix. I use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate site measurement and Usercentrics to manage consent preferences. Their respective terms cover their part.
If any of that changes, this page changes.

HOW LONG I KEEP IT
Newsletter subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe. Form submissions and Diagnostic materials are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, support the engagement, or maintain required business records. Wix Analytics data is retained according to the account settings I control and Wix’s retention policies.

IF YOU’D RATHER NOT BE TRACKED
Nothing on this site is gated behind nonessential tracking. You can decline nonessential cookies or use a tracker blocker and the site still works. Wix may still process data required to operate and secure the site under its own terms.

GETTING REMOVED
Email info@sixbased.com to ask what information I hold, request a correction, or request deletion. I’ll remove what I control from active systems unless I am legally required to retain a record, and I’ll confirm what was done. Routine backup copies may remain temporarily until they are replaced through their normal cycle. You don’t owe me a reason. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link that works.

If what I collect changes, this page changes and the date below changes with it.
